Writing samples - Dialogue

Efficient dialogue should inform the player, reveal character and propel the story forward. Great dialogue should do all three (and then some).

Click here to read a sample extracted from a murder mystery, hidden object game. This scene was written in a “talking heads” style, showing that I can create different personalities through dialogue alone, as well as work under the free-to-play model, respecting genre-requirements and player agency.

Dialogue sample #2: Detective Sklue: Blue Bayou Blues

In this case, I’d like to break protocol a bit and present my all-dialogue detective game. It's no more than 15-minutes long – and only if you're a serious completionist with a penchant for multiple playthroughs (hey, no one's judging you).

Click the link and have a blast, will you? (pc only)
